Bay Soup From the kitchen of birdsoar

Great for a windy night in the Bay area (or anywhere, really).

  • White beans (Great Northern beans)
  • Heirloom tomatoes
  • Kale
  • Salt, pepper, garlic
  • olive oil + 1/2 cup water (or veggie stock)
  • Curry or whatever spices you have around
  • Bacon grease

Heat olive oil, garlic and salt in a pan. Add kale and water. Let it simmer awhile. Add diced tomatoes and put a lid on it, stirring occassionally. Put in a soup pot and add the white beans, curry and bacon grease. Put a lid on it, stirring occasionally. Eat it when it seems ready.
