Great for a windy night in the Bay area (or anywhere, really).
- White beans (Great Northern beans)
- Heirloom tomatoes
- Kale
- Salt, pepper, garlic
- olive oil + 1/2 cup water (or veggie stock)
- Curry or whatever spices you have around
- Bacon grease
Heat olive oil, garlic and salt in a pan. Add kale and water. Let it simmer awhile. Add diced tomatoes and put a lid on it, stirring occassionally. Put in a soup pot and add the white beans, curry and bacon grease. Put a lid on it, stirring occasionally. Eat it when it seems ready.
