Hot Quinoa Breakfast Cereal From the kitchen of kelpiep

Rinse 1 c quinoa and add to 2 c water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add:

  • 1/2 c apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 c raisins
  • 1/2 t cinnamon

Simmer until water is absorbed. Serve with milk or cream, and sweeten with honey, brown sugar or Agave nectar.
