Healthified Garlic Guacamole From the kitchen of kelpiep


  • 1-3 cloves garlic, to taste, minced
  • 2 med avocados, peeled, pitted (save pits to leave in the guacamole - keeps green)
  • 2 T fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. black pepper
  • Dash ground red pepper (cayenne) or few drops red pepper sauce, if desired
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped red onion
  • 3 plum (Roma) tomatoes, seeds removed, chopped
  • 2 T chopped fresh cilantro

Assorted vegetables for dipping, such as carrots & cucumbers

In medium bowl, mash avocados. Stir in minced garlic, the lime juice, salt, black pepper and red pepper. Stir in onion, tomatoes, and cilanro. Serve with tortilla chips and vegetables for dipping.
