Fish Tacos From the kitchen of trey

Ingredients

  • Tortillas
  • Fish (tilapia)
  • Avocado
  • Hot peppers
  • Shredded cabbage
    • Time saving tip: use cole slaw mix
  • Thinly sliced onion
  • Roughly chopped cilantro
  • Yogurt sauce
    • Yogurt
    • Cumin
    • Lime
    • Salt
  • Breading (if you’re going the fried route)
    • Buttermilk
    • Flour
    • Cayenne
    • Paprika
    • Salt
  • Nice shredded muenster cheese

Instructions

  • Grill (my preferred method), sauté, or fry the fish
    • If grilling: get the fish all olive oily and sprinkle some salt, a bit of Tony’s, and a bit of lime juice on it
  • Get all the other ingredients prepared and set out for taco construction
  • Build your tacos in this order:
    • tortilla
    • fish
    • any any everything except the sauce and cilantro
    • sauce
    • cilantro (gosh that’s pretty right on top)
