For any of you who love juicing, industrial blenders or just avoiding vegetables at all cost (I never ate my peas)- here is my favorite Vitamix smoothie/drink to date. It tastes like pineapple (for the most part)
- ½ C water
- 1 C or so green grapes
- ½ C fresh pineapple (I just cut a chunk off the bottom of my pineapple, cut off the skin and throw it in)
- A handful of wheat grass (It doesn’t have much taste after the fruit is in there so I put extra in)
- A kale leaf or three
- A handful of spinach
- 1 C of ice
Blend to your desired consistency and add more pineapple to taste. The actual recipe doesn’t include Kale or Spinach, so for a lighter drink leave those out.
I’ve made up some other good ones if anyone’s interested!

A variation of the last recipe, I made this one this morning…
- 1 c or so apple cider
- half a pear
- half an apple
- ½ c pineapple
- handful of spinach
- handful of wheat grass
- 1 C Ice
I also made this one yesterday and loved it…
- 1 C Apple cider
- 2 small carrots, cut in thirds
- ¼ t fresh ginger root (peel it before chopping up of course)
- a sprig of parsley
- ½ an apple
- ½ C ice
