- 1lb ground beef
- ½ C mayonnaise
- ½ C milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- ½ t. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2½ to 3 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ C chopped onion
- 1 10-inch pie crust
Brown ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Beat mayonnaise, milk, eggs, sald, and pepper in bowl. Stir in ground beef, cheese and onion. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350º for 35 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Yield: 6 servings.
This is easy on the budget, but filled with protein. Serve with green or gelatin salad.
